From Seoul's DDP to Tokyo — How the Partnership Grew
RAWmantics and PhotoNemo first worked together at an exhibition at DDP (Dongdaemun Design Plaza) in Seoul, South Korea. Visitor participation and the lift in brand awareness were clear on site, and that success led the brand to bring PhotoNemo along to its overseas exhibition.

At DDP, a waiting line formed in front of the booth, and while guests waited for their AI cartoon photos they naturally browsed the RAWmantics collection. Having seen this experiential-marketing loop work first-hand, the brand proposed the Tokyo collaboration.
On-Site — Where Fashion Meets Technology

Tokyo Big Sight hosts some of Japan's largest international fairs, gathering fashion and lifestyle brands in one place. Within it, RAWmantics and PhotoNemo built their booth around a single concept: an emotional experience zone where fashion meets photography.

Visitors shot freely at the booth, and during the short wait for their AI-converted photos they browsed the brand's clothing — a pattern of shoot → wait → browse → purchase that repeated throughout the fair. Several visitors told the team they had found and bought an item while waiting for their photo.
AI Cartoon Conversion — the Draw of the Booth

The core technology of this exhibition was PhotoNemo's AI cartoon-style conversion. The system reads each guest's face and expression and generates a unique cartoon-style image — even the same person, shot from the same angle, gets a different result every time. That novelty kept a steady line at the booth, and the RAWmantics team summed it up as "not just a photo booth, but a tool that makes the brand come alive."
Brand Customization — One Print, Lasting Branding

Every print frame carried the RAWmantics logo and brand name. Each photo a visitor took home worked as a brand object — on a desk, in a wallet, in a phone album — quietly re-exposing the brand long after the fair ended, whether or not it was ever shared on social media.
Results — an AI Photo Booth Proven Abroad

- A Seoul partnership that scaled overseas — the DDP collaboration in Korea grew into a Japanese international fair.
- Wait-time turned into purchases — the photo-conversion wait became browsing time, and browsing became sales.
- Lasting brand impressions — brand-framed prints kept working as offline and online exposure after the event.
- Proof that the experience travels — the AI cartoon conversion drew participation across language and culture, validating PhotoNemo outside Korea.

FAQ
Can the booth run at trade shows outside Korea?
Our rental service operates in South Korea, and we have run overseas exhibitions such as this Tokyo Big Sight fair in partnership with a brand. For events outside Korea, feasibility depends on schedule and logistics — contact us with your plan.
Does the AI conversion work for international audiences?
Yes. The kiosk UI supports Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, and the AI conversion itself is language-independent — at Tokyo Big Sight it drew steady participation from Japanese and international visitors.
Can the print frame carry our brand?
Yes. The print frame, kiosk screens, and booth exterior can all be customized. Hand over your logo and key visuals, and PhotoNemo handles the conversion and application for every format.
