Two Custom Photo Booth Print Frames at No Extra Charge
This case started with a question about what print customization costs. Applying artwork carries no extra charge, and the exterior is chosen surface by surface — ISU took all seven.
Two Custom Photo Booth Print Frames at No Extra Charge
After receiving the quotation, the ISU EX team called and asked one thing:
"How does the cost work for customizing the print frame?"
The short answer: applying artwork to the print frame carries no extra charge. Simple work such as placing a logo we produce ourselves. Anything with real design in it — arranging characters, setting colors — you send as a file and we apply it as supplied.
ISU already had its own brand characters. For the new-hire onboarding program held from 1 to 7 July 2026 in the ground-floor lobby of their headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea, we ran a booth carrying two print frames built from those characters and a wrap covering all seven exterior surfaces.

How Far the Print Frame Can Change

Leave the photo areas and the QR square open and everything else is yours — background color, copy, character placement, number of shots.
ISU built two frames, portrait and landscape. Adding more frames does not change the rental fee.
The specification we send is:
- 300 dpi — 1240×1844 portrait, 1844×1240 landscape
- Photo areas and the QR square left transparent
- PNG (transparent background), PSD, or AI
Who Makes What

| Task | Who | Charge |
|---|---|---|
| Placing a logo | we produce it | no extra charge |
| Character placement, color work | you send the file | no extra charge |
| Per-panel templates and specifications | we supply them | — |
| Exterior wrap printing and installation | we do it | chosen surface by surface |
ISU had characters and program artwork in house, so their EX team produced the files. Where a company has its own brand rules, this route is faster. Artwork newly created by an outside vendor has to go back through internal review; artwork the company already uses does not.
The Exterior Is Chosen Surface by Surface

Unlike the print frame, the exterior wrap is priced and chosen surface by surface. You can take the front panel only, the five front-facing surfaces, or all seven including the rear doors.
ISU took all seven, because the booth was not going against a wall. The requirement they gave was that it "stand free, visible from every side." In an open position the sides and the back are as visible as the front, and if even one surface shows the original equipment finish, the booth looks borrowed from that angle.

ISU also built a photo wall and character standees and set them up alongside. Because the booth exterior used the same characters and colors, the corner reads as one thing planned together.
We Check It in 3D Before Printing

A wrap cannot be undone once printed. So your files go onto a 3D simulation first and we check the front, sides, and rear together — the step that stops anyone saying "this isn't what I pictured" after it is installed.
ISU received the quotation and working files on 25 June, sent their layout on the 26th, and closed the design on the morning of the 29th. Printing had to finish before delivery on the 30th, and it was settled in a single revision.
What Was Left Afterwards
Guests take the prints — 269 of them over seven days.
The organizer keeps every photo as a file. On 7 July, teardown day, we packaged the full set and sent a download link. Two days later the client called to say people had also shot during the afternoon of teardown day and asked for those photos too, so we added the missing files and sent a final set of 62.
| Date | Photos | Prints |
|---|---|---|
| Wed 1 Jul | 16 | 78 |
| Thu 2 Jul | 8 | 36 |
| Fri 3 Jul | 9 | 31 |
| Sat 4 Jul | 2 | 7 |
| Sun 5 Jul | 0 | 0 |
| Mon 6 Jul | 14 | 48 |

FAQ
What does it cost to put our characters on the print frame?
Applying artwork to the print frame carries no extra charge. Logo-level placement we produce ourselves; character placement and color work you send as a file and we apply as supplied.
How much of the print frame can we control?
Leave the photo areas and the QR square open and the background color, copy, and character placement are yours. Adding shots, or adding a second frame as ISU did, does not change the rental fee.
Does the exterior wrap also come at no extra charge?
The exterior is different. It is chosen surface by surface — the front panel alone, or all seven including the rear doors. Tell us where the booth will stand and we work out which surfaces you need.
What file specification do you need?
300 dpi: 1240×1844 portrait, 1844×1240 landscape. Leave the photo areas and QR square transparent, and send PNG (transparent background), PSD, or AI.
Can we see it before it goes to print?
Your files go onto a 3D simulation and we review the front, sides, and rear together. Because printing and delivery are scheduled, it is best to settle revisions in one round — this case did.
Can international agencies book events in Korea with you?
Yes. We support English communication, quotations, invoicing, payment, installation, and on-site coordination for events held in South Korea.
