Photo Booth Rental for Festivals and Exhibitions in Korea
Plan photo booth rental with shooting groups, peak demand, installation conditions and real Korean event examples. Compare standard photos, AI options and rental scope.
Event date
Before renting a photo booth for a festival, exhibition or company event, decide what guests will receive, when demand will peak and where the equipment will stand. A quote based only on total attendance or the machine fee can miss printing, installation and on-site support requirements.
This guide connects planning questions to PhotoNemo's published event cases in Korea. Start with standard photo prints, then choose AI and branding options that serve your event.
Choose the guest experience
| Event purpose | Result to plan | Published Korean example |
|---|---|---|
| Employee onboarding | Standard photos with company characters and frames | ISU new-hire training: a color booth in the Seoul headquarters lobby |
| Company sports event | A choice between original photos and AI transformations | KBS Arena corporate sports event: two booths and four choices |
| Exhibition or brand experience | Photos connected to the exhibition design | Seoul Design Festival: a COEX exhibition installation |
| Educational festival | Event frames and a message on the photo | AI Talent Festival: a Dongjak Campus installation |
Applying an existing frame design, creating new artwork and producing or installing exterior film are separate tasks. Share your available logo, characters and campaign files, and identify any design work you need. You do not have to use every feature shown in a case.
Plan shooting groups and peak demand
Total visitors and shooting groups are different quantities. Friends or families may take one photo together. Confirm average group size and prints per group, then test the complete experience: instructions, shooting, selection, AI processing, printing and download.
Expected shooting groups = expected users / average group size.
Planning capacity per booth = usable operating time / complete experience time per group.
For example, 240 expected users in groups of three mean 80 groups. Assuming four minutes per group and 180 usable minutes gives a theoretical capacity of 45 groups for one booth. Two booths give 90 groups by simple arithmetic, before allowing for supplies, instructions, retakes and peaks. These are illustrative assumptions, not a PhotoNemo throughput guarantee or a recommended booth count. Confirm the actual flow and staffing before deciding.
| Planning input | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Shooting groups | Expected users, average group size and prints per group |
| Time | Total operating hours and the busiest programme breaks |
| Photo flow | Number of shots and selection steps |
| AI | Transformation type, complete experience time and network |
| Staffing | Guest guidance, paper refills and problem response |
Keep the queue clear of circulation and emergency routes. Explain the photo choices while guests wait. If you need bookings, surveys or extra selection screens, confirm availability and the separate development and operating scope.
Check festival installation conditions
An address alone is not enough to confirm an outdoor installation.
| Condition | What the organiser should provide |
|---|---|
| Position | Indoor or outdoor area, floor, shooting space and queue space |
| Weather | Protection from rain, wind and direct sunlight; an indoor fallback |
| Access | Vehicle access times, unloading position, lifts or stairs and venue permission |
| Power | Outlet position, permitted use and the venue power contact |
| Network | Stable internet for AI, tested at the actual installation position |
| Schedule | Installation, opening, peak periods, closing and collection |
| Responsibilities | Installation, guidance, supplies and on-site support |
Outdoor feasibility is reviewed against the venue conditions. If you add AI, decide whether standard photography will remain available and agree on the fallback flow before the event.
Separate photo delivery from lead collection
QR photo download does not automatically collect contact details. If your campaign requires a survey, email entry or marketing consent, discuss the screen flow, requested fields, retention and delivery scope, and integration availability separately.
Distinguish what guests receive from what the organiser receives and the agreed conditions for later publication or marketing. Do not assume a particular CRM integration or a fixed lead conversion rate is included in the base rental. Shooting groups, QR use, form entries and valid contacts are different measurements.
Compare rental quotes on the same basis
Use the same date, operating time, venue, booth count and output requirements. Check whether transport, installation, extra prints, AI, exterior production and installation, and on-site staff are included or quoted separately.
Send the event date and hours, venue address and access times, expected users and groups, busiest periods, standard photo strips or AI requirements, prints per group, booth count if known, organiser-provided staff and branding scope.
Compare products and rental options, read the pricing guide, plan an estimate or explore AI options.
Support for overseas agencies
PhotoNemo provides photo booth installations for events held in Korea. Overseas agencies can coordinate in English and request a quotation, invoice and payment guidance. Share your venue, schedule, branding files and billing requirements so delivery and paperwork can be reviewed together.
